We are delighted that another of our Toastmasters has achieved their Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award. Many congratulations to Penny Haywood Calder. The DTM is the highest award within Toastmasters and recognises a significant level of achievement in communication and leadership, including at least 40 prepared speeches, various leadership tasks and projects, serving as both a Club and a District Officer and taking a specific role in supporting a new or struggling club.
Penny joined TMI in 2006 and is a member of at Haymarket TM and a past member of Waverley Communicators. She is also supporting two of our pre-charter Clubs, as VPE of Porty Communicators and guest speaker at Dunfermline TM. Penny was Area 30 Governor (Director) 2013-14 and received recognition of her work when declared D71 Area Governor of the Year for her ‘outstanding service and achievement’.
Which of our Toastmasters within Division Scotland will be next to achieve their DTM?
