Area 60 clubs are: Caledonian TM, Central TM, Falkirk Orators, Glasgow TM and Southside Speakers, and the Area Governor is Gerry Dunn.
Every club should have a minimum of four officers trained at each of the two COT sessions to earn credit towards their DCP (Distinguished Club Program).
Also, when club officers are well-trained to perform their duties, the member experience is more positive, which leads to a quality club experience and increased member retention.
The Area 60 COT was hosted by Caledonian TM who provided an excellent meeting venue and members were warmly welcomed by Nkosi Frank, club President.
Jane Cameron was Toastmaster of the Day and we were pleased to welcome Kevin Lee, D71 Lt Gov Education & Training.
We heard training talks from Jane Cameron (TM Websites), Will Feek (TM Education Sessions), Kevin Lee (Moments of Truth), Gerry Dunn (Officer Roles and Ideas for Improvement) and there was lots of opportunity to share ideas, questions and comments.
A special thank you to Martin Timoney (Central TM) for helping organise the training day.
